For those of you that are fed-up with the ads, security issues and privacy problems of the big social media platforms and would like something different, look no further. I have created a community feed on my website, mainly for people that are interested in drone’s and photography, but it’s open to anyone that is interested in looking at photo’s or if you take photo’s with your smartphone (which is everyone these days) and want to upload them for the world to see.
I promise there will be no ads, no spamming. This has been setup for people to join up and share their photo’s, to have a good time looking at other people’s photo’s and chat with other community members. Please get onboard and join up, the more members we have the better the community will be.

As a lot of you know I love taking photo’s, I am self taught in this area. It is all just trial and error for me, I get a couple of good shots, but mostly bad shots.
Here is an example of a photo I took a few months ago, I was having a play around trying to get the city in the background of my glass of wine, it didn’t come out the way I wanted (another bad shot) so I disgarded the photo. A few weeks later I came across the photo again in my folders and thought I would have a go at editing it. I use Adobe PhotoShop and Adobe Lightroom for editing, once again I’m self taught so everything is trial and error, I’m getting a lot better as I play around with them more. I thought if I blur out the background and keep the wine glass and wine bottle in the foreground it might look ok, as you can see in the photo above it came out great (I think so anyway). This is now one of my favorite photos.
So at the end of the day never throw away any of your photo’s, good or bad ones, with a bit of editing a bad photo can become a great photo. One of the reasons I love photography so much is every photo is different, just like every persons view of a photo is different, what I think is a great photo the next person might think it is rubbish. So I hope you enjoy looking at my photo’s and please let me know what you think, I really enjoy feedback.
